To reveal their upcoming album “De Ene Hand Wast De Andere,” Broederliefde wanted to go beyond the standard album announcement and create a vibrant, story-driven video packed with layers of meaning. The group envisioned a visual that could showcase the diversity of their music and the universality of their fanbase. A celebration of how their songs have a role in the everyday lives of their fans.
We built the concept around a wide range of scenes, each one representing a different track from the album and featuring distinct personas across various demographics, highlighting how Broederliefde’s music resonates with everyone.
To subtly tease the album release date, we hid the numbers “27/06” in eight different shots, encouraging fans to spot them all.
As a nod to the album title (A Dutch expression that resembles the phrase “One good turn deserves another”), we sprinkled in small, human moments of people helping one another.
The group also wanted to be present in the narrative, so we created two seamless cameos, one at the start and one at the end, to tie them into the world of their fans.
The result: a fast-paced, joyful, two-minute ride through the universe of Broederliefde: playful, creative, and filled with hidden gems for the true fans.
